The author has travelled far and wide, not only from venue to venue, but between styles of life and the passions and moods of the moment.
This book is the product of having to stay at home during Covid lockdowns. Memories had to be revived, shelves and cupboards searched, and emails or phone calls made to better assess the facts and the chronological order. Having enjoyed the world around me from early days to what is now a decade into retirement it seemed good to offer cheer to others. Perhaps my fidgety life might encourage a smile or even a raised eyebrow. I may have displayed something like an attention deficit disorder in the way I’ve chopped and changed from one place to another, but for all that there’s been a steady resolve and a returning to projects seemingly set aside.
